ένα bridal shower με ταξιδιάρικη διάθεση

εμπνευστείτε από τον αγαπημένο προορισμό του ζευγαριού & επιλέξτε το ως το βασικό θέμα του bridal shower. σκεφτείτε εάν το ζευγάρι έχει κανονίσει να πάει ταξίδι του μέλιτος, εάν έχει ζήσει κάποια στιγμή στο εξωτερικό, εάν η πρόταση γάμου έγινε κάπου ξεχωριστά ή ακόμη & εάν ο γάμος τους γίνει σε ένα ιδιαίτερο μέρος!

στο δικό μου bridal shower οι φίλες μου εμπνεύστηκαν από το Παρίσι, μιας & ο γάμος μου έγινε εκεί! ετσι, έστησαν ένα υπέροχο απογευματινό καφέ & βραδινό επίσημο δείπνο με βάση γαλλικές γεύσεις! τα υπέροχα γραφικά, δημιούργημα της fellow-blogger & κουμπάρας μου Χριστίνας, είχαν επίσης γαλλικές πινελιές. έπρεπε, μάλιστα, να μεταφράσω - μαντέψω ποια πιάτα θα σερβίρονταν στο δείπνο, μιας & το μενού ήταν γραμμένο στα γαλλικά!
οι σημερινές φωτογραφίες είναι εμπνευσμένες απο το διάσημο tea salon Ladurée στο Παρίσι! To styling ανήκει στην ανερχόμενη event designer Melissa (The Loveliest Day) ενώ οι υπέροχες φωτογραφίες στην Ashley Rose (Ashley Rose Photography).

{get inspired by the couple's favourite destination & choose it as the basic theme of the bridal shower. just think if the couple has already organised its honeymoon or if they have spent some time abroad or if the proposal took place somewhere special or even if the wedding is going to be a destination wedding!

for my bridal shower, my friends drew their inspiration from Paris as this was my wedding destination! so, they set up a gorgeous afternoon coffee & formal dinner based on french flavours! the amazing graphics that were created by my fellow-blogger & maid-of-honour Christina had also a french twist. before dinner, I had to translate - guess all the dishes to be served, as the menu was written in french!
Today's pictures are inspired by the famouse tea salon Ladurée in Paris! The styling of the event was designed by the upcoming event designer Melissa (The Loveliest Day) while the beautiful pictures belong to Ashley Rose (Ashley Rose Photography).}

κόκκινο & τυρκουάζ

αυτό που ζηλέψαμε στο σημερινό γάμο είναι τα γραφικά του! η νύφη είναι η ίδια γραφίστρια βλέπετε... γιρλάντες με μικρά σημαιάκια σε κόκκινες & τυρκουάζ αποχρώσεις στόλισαν το χώρο της τελετής & του πάρτυ. υπέροχες μπουτονιέρες - παράσημα δημιουργήθηκαν από ριγέ & πουά κορδέλες. αντί για ρύζι, οι καλεσμένοι έραναν τους νεόνυμφους με ποπ-κορν (!!!), το οποίο ήταν τοποθετημένο σε παραδοσιακά ριγέ κόκκινα & άσπρα κουτιά. ριγέ κόκκινα & άσπρα καλαμάκια, ριγέ καρτέλες του μενού, υπέροχα γραφικά σε κόκκινο χρώμα για τα σακουλάκια με τα δωράκια των καλεσμένων. όλα άψογα συνδυασμένα μεταξύ τους! για το τέλος, κρατήσαμε το στολισμό των τραπεζιών της δεξίωσης: λευκές μαργαρίτες & κατακόκκινα κεράσια!!! φωτογραφίες που μας γεμίζουν χαμόγελα από την ομάδα της we love pictures.


{we really envy the graphic designs on all the stationery in today's wedding! the bride is herself a graphic designer... garlands of small flags in shades of red & turquoise decorated both the ceremony & the reception venues. gorgeous boutonnieres - metals were created of striped & polka-dot ribbons for the groom & his groomsmen. instead of wedding rice, the guests tossed pop-corn (!!!), which was placed in traditional red & white striped boxes, to the newlyweds. red & white striped straws, menu cards, beautiful graphic designs on the bags used for the guest treats. all so brilliantly combined! for the end, we left the table centrepieces: white daisies & red cherries!!! photos that make us smile from the team of we love pictures.}
